City Candidates Meet & Greets

In place of the standard membership meeting in July, SKA will host 2 different candidate forums. All registered candidates have been invited to participate.

First up on July 8th, join us for an opportunity to meet the candidates running for Knoxville City Mayor and hear their vision for Knoxville. We'll be at Ijams Nature Center (2915 Island Home Ave) for the evening. The Candidate Meet & Greet will begin at 6:00 with each candidate making a brief introductory statement. Attendees will then have the opportunity to meet the candidates one-on-one at their campaign table.

Then, on July 16th, we will hear from the candidates running for City Council. This event will be at Pathways Church (6514 Chapman Hwy) also starting at 6:00 and following the same format at the Mayoral Meet & Greet.

Early voting starts Wednesday, August 7th and Tuesday, August 27, 2019 is primary Election Day.
