SKA Membership Meeting - February 11, 2019

In an effort to help keep SKA members in the know about happenings in SoKno, we are joining with the Knoxville Knox County Planning (formerly the MPC) for their meeting on February 11th at 6:00 at South Doyle Middle School.

As reported by The Office of Neighborhoods:

Big News is coming for Knoxville Knox County Planning (KKCP)! The organization, formally known as the Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC), has not only changed their name, but is also setting big plans for the 2019-2020 fiscal year.

KKCP is looking for your input on updates for amendments to the 2018 plan, permitted land use and zoning districts, and development policies. One Year Plan Update Meetings are scheduled at 6 p.m. at the following locations across Knoxville:

- Monday, Feb. 4, Middlebrook Pike, United Methodist Church, 7234 Middlebrook Pike
- Monday, Feb. 11, South Doyle Middle School Library, 3900 Decatur Rd.
- Monday, Feb. 19, New Harvest Park Community Building, 4775 New Harvest Ln.
